Chiefdom
A chiefdom organizes several villages into a single polity ruled by a single chief. The villages send food and resources to the chief, who then redistributes them as needed among the villages.
Very few chiefdoms exist in the Fifth World, primarily along the coasts of the Arctic Ocean. They stand out as the least egalitarian societies left in the world, and many consider them distasteful holdouts of civilization.
