The Coffeehouse

The Coffeehouse serves as the principal focus of the coffee mystery cult of the Mountain People of Kitaa. The structure lies primarily underground, accessible by a ladder lowered in from the roof. The Mountain People have made the floor and walls smooth with clay, and decorated with with paintings that have meanings which they teach to initiates. The same fires used to boil water for coffee also keep the interior bright and warm. During coffee ceremonies, musicians play music.
